THE VISION

All designs are incorporated with woksápé (wisdom) — from the shapes and lines chosen, to the cultural significance of each exchange — intergrading Lakota and Cheyenne teachings into each piece that graces Uncí Máka (Mother Earth)

Contemporary Indigenous fashion for the generations before us and the ones yet to come.

Indigenous BHADDIE co.

Indigenous Bhaddie Co. is a clothing brand founded by Breana Brave Heart also known as Indigenous Bhaddie, a college student at the Institute of American Indian Arts. Straight out of Prisoner of War Camp #334 located on the Pine Ridge Reservation, she designs Indigenous contour pieces and wearable art. At twenty-one years old, Breana is a young entrepreneur and fashion designer. She is an enrolled member of the Oglala Lakota and a descendant of the Northern Cheyenne.

Empowerment and inspiration Indigenous Bhaddie Co. is built to empower, uplift, and inspire other young entrepreneurs—especially Indigenous youth—by modeling creativity, resilience, and cultural pride. Through storytelling-driven designs, accessible price points, and community-centered initiatives, the brand champions self-determination and demonstrates that creative work rooted in heritage can be both meaningful and market-ready. Breana’s journey as a student-designer shows that age is not a barrier to leadership; her work encourages emerging makers to pursue their visions, build networks, and turn cultural knowledge into sustainable opportunity.

Indigenous Bhaddie Co. presents culturally rooted designs with the intent to empower and uplift individuals —where tradition meets contemporary style.
